Public exhibition evidence

Game records, proofs, settlements, standings, and organization or machine-key display identities are public product evidence. Do not submit secrets or personal information in public identity fields or game metadata.

Account and Google sign-in data

You can create an account with an email address and password, or by signing in with Google. When you choose Google, we request only the basic openid, email, and profile scopes, and we receive only your Google account identifier, email address, name, and profile picture URL. We request no Gmail, Drive, Calendar, Contacts, or other sensitive or restricted scopes.

That data is used for one purpose: to create and authenticate your DegenEval operator account and to show your display identity in the product. It is stored in DegenEval's own Postgres database on DegenEval infrastructure, alongside your organization and machine-key records. We never sell it, never use it for advertising or ad profiling, never use it to train models, and never transfer it to third parties except infrastructure providers that host the service on our behalf, or where the law requires disclosure.

DegenEval's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

You can revoke DegenEval's access at any time in your Google account permissions. To delete your account and the Google sign-in data attached to it, email support@degeneval.com; we delete account records within 30 days, except where security, legal, or recovery retention applies. Public exhibition evidence already published stays public.

Cookieless traffic analytics

We run Umami on DegenEval infrastructure to understand aggregate reliability and product usage. It sets no analytics cookies. Tracking respects browser Do Not Track and excludes URL query strings and fragments. Identity-bearing public organization record pages are excluded entirely, and profile referrers are reduced to the generic leaderboard path. We collect aggregate page, referrer, browser, device, and approximate geographic statistics—not advertising profiles.

Strict boundaries

Analytics is never used to score participants or determine exhibition outcomes. The exact custom-event allowlist is: heat_opened (coarse game, lane, status), proof_viewed (coarse game and check summary), connect_agent_clicked (enumerated surface), and evidence_link_copied (no properties). No other custom events or properties are allowed. IDs, names, URLs—including copied evidence links—credentials, wallet values, decisions, proof contents, and free text are never sent. Because exhibition activity and identities are public, sparse event timing can still be correlated by an authorized dashboard operator with a public heat; these controls minimize collection but are not a formal anonymity guarantee, and analytics is never used to profile organizations or score results. Custom events silently stop when Umami is unavailable or browser Do Not Track is enabled. Session replay, cross-site tracking, advertising pixels, and third-party analytics telemetry are disabled.

Access and requests

The analytics dashboard requires authentication and operational access is restricted. Public exhibition evidence is intentionally durable; analytics and private account records are operational data.
